The Danger Shop was set up like a computer lab today, the old school kind with the giant monitors. Basically it looked just like the computer labs she'd had in her high school -- only with faster internet access.

"Midterm day," Cristina said. "You're doing research projects. You're going to research a medical condition and present it to the class." She smirked. "Bonus points for the person who can find the weirdest, grossest one!"

Ghanima was sitting on a large cushion as the class filed in today, a cup of spiced coffee clutched in her hands. Against the wall by the door, large carafes of coffee, tea, and juice sat on a table and waited for the students.

"I'm sure many of you had busy break weeks," she said, watching as they got settled. "Regardless, I need you awake and with me today."

( When the game is over, the king and the pawn go into the same box. )

"Mustafa returned to his cage one last time, late in 1623. He died there sixteen years later."

At some point today, a note was tacked to the door and sent to all the students:

Apologies, but I will not be in today. I will see you all next week.

[OOC: Sorry, guys! I totally flaked. No class this week.]

"Hope you all had fun in Greece," Miguel said. "Some of us were off saving worlds to cheer up our friends. So this week - a memory scanner!" He showed them the requisite movie scene. "You should be able to give it a time, put on the helmet, and have it show your memories. Then show me something fun you did last week. If you didn't do anything fun, why the shock not?"
