"You've had a whole day to recover from whatever trauma you might have encountered over the course of last week," Kanan said wryly. "So, welcome back to class."

A beat.

"One of the most important things to keep in mind about adaptability? Self-care. It's something I've been guilty of neglecting over the years myself. It's all too easy when your focus is going into survival to forget that you're a flesh-and-blood person with needs, both physical and emotional. So today, we're going to focus on that. Make a checklist of things to keep in mind about taking care of yourselves. And then run through it, each of you, to see if you've been doing those, yourself."

He turned around and wrote on the whiteboard - because yes, he was absolutely stealing Summer's 'danger shop classroom' program, in case he needed to conjure anything up today - Self-Care Checklist.

And then underlined it. Twice.

"We'll start with the basics for the survival of most living beings. Food. Water. Sleep. What else can you list off?"

A beat.

"And to help you with that first one, I've ordered pizza. Please, eat."

"Good afternoon," Hannibal greeted them all at Portalocity. "I understand last week was quite something; I'm still working my way through the radio broadcasts." And not at all bemoaning the fact that he'd been unable to get here. "This week we will be finishing up our tour of the continents with North America. Much of the food you will find here is a mixture of various colonial influences. However, the indigenous peoples, generally referred to as Native Americans or First Nations, have their own cuisines. Unfortunately, due to the extensive actions of colonists, those cuisines and often the ingredients that inform them have been denigrated or lost to varying extents. To say nothing of the people.

"Today we will be visiting the Tsuut'ina nation for a meal at the Little Chief restaurant. Their menu includes a wide selection of native meats and vegetables, with recipes both local and inspired by cuisines around the world. After the meal, since it would seem we have no need to shop and you could likely use an opportunity for fun, you can explore the casino to which the restaurant is attached."

He led them through the portal. "Enjoy."

You know what was a difficult class to do after a week like that? A class about games, especially when one of your teachers was used as a battery for the week and was still looking a little worse for way, sitting down in a chair instead of stalking around for maximum cape drama.

They'd held the class outside with a mat out with a circle drawn in the middle because the weather, at least, was nice. The inflatable sumo suits were different, though.

"We thought maybe the best option today would be to hit things," Aeryn began.

"I'm not allowed to hit things yet," Anakin said, sounded decidedly sulky about it, "but I am also not dead, and I thought you might like to see that in person." He waved over at the circle. "But...sumo things. It's a safe way to beat each other up as long as you don't aim for the face, which would be rude and unsportsmanlike and absolutely encouraged if you ever see the Toymaker again."

"And if you could do that before he does anything, that would be great," Aeryn said. "The rules are, you put on a suit. You pair up with someone, get in the ring, and whoever gets pushed out of the ring loses."

Anakin gave Sidon a little grin. "Give your opponent a fighting chance, okay?" he added.
