When the students arrived today, they would find a mildly disgruntled Hannibal attempting to get the class started, and the Danger Shop wavering and glitching, then eventually settling upon a simulation of a theater.

Hannibal gave it a look. "Apparently today the shop has determined we are having a movie day. Hopefully it's chosen something suitable, at least."

Once they were settled, the movie started playing.

Hannibal was going to have words with the room later.

"Today, I want you all to take five bucks and use it to buy enough food to last you three days," Atton said.

They were sitting in a normal classroom. He had a stack of five dollar notes sitting in front of him.

"Bring it back here, we'll check it out, that's it."

Beat.

"Go."

It was probably a relief that the classroom looked like some sort of horrible dungeon today. You know the sort with stone walls and strange noises and cobwebs everywhere because who cleaned a horrible dungeon? No one. That's who.

"Now that you've all rested, we thought we could give you a challenge today," Magnus said. "Keep you on your toes and all."

"Though if you've learned anything so far, it's that you should already be on them." Judgemental Mord'Sith was judgemental.

And your other teacher once literally spent a year jumping out on his teammates yelling 'MAGNUS' to keep them sharp. So, basically you all would learn or die trying. Please don't do the latter, kids.

"Because even a weak opponent can be dangerous if they can overwhelm you with numbers," Magnus said with a nod. "Like that whole 'would you rather fight one horse sized duck or a dozen duck sized horses' both are pretty bad options. First of all, why are you fighting either of them? They sound awesome."

Cara...was just going to pretend she hadn't heard that, or think about it too much. "When dealing with that kind of numbers, your opponents don't need to be good, just lucky." Though today's lot were going to need all the luck they could get.

They were doing their best, Cara!

"So, watch each other's backs and have a good time!" Magnus said. "I think we have fantasy Capri Sun and orange slices for after."

They weren't getting any more hints than that, because toes.
