After checking himself out of the clinic, Steve stood at the edge of a large, tarp-covered area as he waited for the students to assemble. He was dressed in paint-splattered sweats and a t-shirt with 'ARMY' emblazoned across the chest, and grinning broadly, despite the already-fading bruises on his face. In the middle of the tarps was a large piece of canvas, firmly secured to the ground. Around the perimeter was a lot of paint of many colors in various delivery devices. There were paint-filled Super Soakers and water pistols, paint balloons, and pans of paint. The students had been handwavily notified to wear clothes they wouldn't mind ruining and meet him here.

"Now, I know it's been a very busy and stressful weekend. So I thought you'd like something fun and silly for our final workshop together. So we will be working on a piece of collaborative art. Which is to say...

When the kids came into the classroom on Monday they would see a smorgasbord of unhealthy foods sitting on a buffet table behind Marshall. There was pizza, cheeseburgers, french fries, hot pockets, cheetos, tacos, and all other sorts of moddable junk food. In the corner of the classroom there were two TV's. One had a Wii hooked up to it while the other had an X-Box 360 hooked up to it.

"We've all had a rough weekend. Well, I haven't but I did radio last night so I know quite a few of you did. So for our last class we're going to be doing what you will probably doing during your college years; eating junk food and playing video games," he said. "I know that's what I spent most of my spare time doing. Well that and...things that you can't do in a classroom. But a lot of my time was spent with the junk food and video games. Except when I was in college all I had was a Super Nintendo and a Sega so you kids consider yourself lucky."

"Before you guys get to it, let me just say that I had a lot of fun teaching this semester and I hope you guys did too. I was kind of nervous about this whole thing when I first started so I thank you for being good and not making me want to run away screaming," Marshall said, grinning. "Have fun!"

Once everyone who wasn't, you know, unconscious was in the classroom, Deadpool nodded at them all seriously.

"Okay, first of all, anyone who was doing any kind of fighting this past weekend-- or researching I guess, even though that's more brainy than fighty, but whatever-- gets an automatic A in the class. You can all thank Jo for asking the question."

Another small nod and he started to pace.

"And since this is our last class-- good god where did the time go?-- we'll be doing something fun," Deadpool told them, gesturing over toward a few video game consoles and televisions. "Today you play a game that is full of fake blood and fatalities and FINISHING HIM."

Yes, that last bit had to be done in a low voice.

"So... FINISH HIM."

"Good afternoon," John said as all the students filed in. "It's good to see all of you here more or less in one piece.

"Today, being our last class, your assignment is to do a tune up on your respective cars. That could involve any or all of the things you've learned." He paused. "I know this past weekend has been... traumatic for some of you. If you feel the need for someone to talk to, I -- or any of the other teachers I'm sure -- will listen.

"But barring that, let's see how well you've learned your lessons, shall we?"

As the class assembled, they would have been greeted by the smells of freshly cooked food, and the possibly disturbing sight of Bond wearing an apron.

"Regardless of the former-Vice Principal's antics over the weekend, I trust you all remembered the assignment I gave you last week," he said. "And brought along an example of food from your homes to share with the class."

Bond gestured at the spread of food on the tables, which consisted largely of several kinds of sausages, toast, eggs done in a variety of different manners, mushrooms, tomatoes, toast, and rather a lot of bacon. "For my part, this here an example of the traditional English breakfast. However, as you can no doubt see, the sheer amount of food, and the main method of preparation, does not make this advisable as an everyday occurrence." He continued on for a while, explaining some of the regional differences in the dish throughout the United Kingdom, although thankfully he didn't explain what exactly black pudding was made of.

"Now, I would all like you to share what you've brought with the class, and explain a bit about it."

Juli did not particularly approve of having food in class, but nonetheless, today there were various moddable snacks of varying degrees of healthiness and she, herself, was nibbling on a carrot stick. And drinking her coffee, of course.

Always with the coffee these days.

“Welcome to your class with me for this term,” she said, once everyone had gathered, “please, help yourself to the food, sit back, and each of you tell me one thing that you’ve learned this term--whether in my classroom or not—that had it’s origins in another world.”

She gestured to a student at random. “Begin.”
