It's Angela's last day opening the library until at least July.

Things like that can make a girl sentimental. She even brought in coffee and bagels.

Come. Study. Return overdue books before you get malletized.

"I don't think so," Angela said. "Unless they can for the same reason judges can. But you would think we would have heard of it, right?"

"Either way, we didn't sign a license. Did you? Isn't that kind of essential?"

"My mother might kill me because she has met the groom," Angela groaned. "Marty is not her favorite person on the planet. She gave me the whole "too young to be so serious" talk a couple months back."

"My mum wouldn't care that--if--we were serious. Well, she would, but she wouldn't have a leg to stand on, since Twitch an' Henry were serious from the time they were like twelve an' she never said boo. An' Da'd talk sense back into her. He usually does."

"My mom was basically the prettiest girl in her high school class, so I think that's kind of warping her perspective," Angela said. "She dated a lot of guys."

She shrugged. "And then she married my dad, who she basically never spoke to in high school.And now they're separated, so I guess it didn't work otu for them."
