It was nice to get back to the practical skills after the stupid test thing. Crazy Apple had a lot more interesting in actually doing things than in demonstrating her knowledge. Unless, you know, it served some special purpose.

The reduced weight and lighter recoil were pretty obvious once she started handling the blaster herself. She got familiar with the thing, and took some shots. It took a few tries to get adjusted, but once she did, her accuracy was pretty impressive. Having a literal sixth sense that allowed you to intuitively understand the space around you really was an advantage when shooting.

Of course, at some point, Crazy Apple paused and looked down at the blaster, wondering if she'd get in trouble if she took it apart to see how it worked.
