Everyday Skills, Friday 2nd Period
Oz had sent an email to the class telling them wear clothes that could stand up to some rough handling. As each student entered the Danger Shop, he handed them either a squirt gun or a bucket of brightly coloured water balloons.
Once the entire class had arrived, he began. "Sometimes you need to know how to make the most of what you've got," Oz told them. "You might be in competition with people who have different resources to you, they may be better resources, they may not. But usually? Knowing how to effectively use the resources you have can make all the difference."
"Other times, you just need to know when to cool off." Which would be when he triggered the catapult full of balloons aimed right at the class.
[Done!]

Listen to Oz - ES [07]
Least of all the giant X you're standing in the middle of.
Re: Listen to Oz - ES [07]
The generic "hear the sound of something whistling through the air, look down and realize you're standing on an X, run like crazy" narrative cliché was pretty much a staple of his childhood. After enough times, you start to get an instinct for avoiding these things.
Re: Listen to Oz - ES [07]
Look, if she had to go to class today, at least it was going to be fun.
Re: Listen to Oz - ES [07]
Which prompted a burst of excited giggles.
She spun to whoever was closest to her (hi, Stephanie!) and squealed: "That was fun!"

She approved!
Re: Listen to Oz - ES [07]
If you stretched the metaphor a bit. Details!
Re: Listen to Oz - ES [07]
"I suppose that we should go splash around then, huh?"
Re: Listen to Oz - ES [07]
Stephanie hoisted her Super Soaker and gave it one showy, cheesy-action-movie-style pump.
"Oh, you betcha, sister."
Re: Listen to Oz - ES [07]
Oops?
Re: Listen to Oz - ES [07]
And after the water hit, Richie was just staring even harder at the girls. Wet shirts were awesome, yeah.
Waterfight! - ES [07]
There are various taps throughout the field with along with tubs of empty water balloons for people to restock when they run out of ammo.
That there happen to be convenient places to set up ambushes near every single one...co-incidence, really.

Re: Waterfight! - ES [07]
Like right now, when Hank was shooting at her with his water gun and grinning like an idiot.
Re: Waterfight! - ES [07]
He'd asked for it. He had ruined her hair.
Re: Waterfight! - ES [07]
Then he looked up slyly and fired at her again. "SIKE!!!"
Re: Waterfight! - ES [07]
And that was where Juliet was just going to run out of ammo. Oops.
Re: Waterfight! - ES [07]
Re: Waterfight! - ES [07]
Her aim wasn't especially good, though. It was hard to throw properly when giggling madly.

Talk to Oz or the TA - ES [07]
Mostly though he thought everyone could do with an impromptu cold shower.
