Psych 101 & Jung (Monday, 5/1/2006, 3rd & 4th Periods)

"Your papers are due in this week," said Jenny. "Either today or on Thursday--your call if you want them in and over with now, or later."

OOC: Feel free to handwave if you want, though I'd love to see what you guys come up with. And let me know what grade you think your character deserves for the final paper/project, and the class.

Elizabeth handed in her insanely long project write-up on *zomg so handwavey subject* that included a good few thousand words of book research as an introduction.

[[ooc: A for the project, A for the class]]

Krycek turned in his project on handwavey something something, which was well written and possibly a hair more technical and in depth than one would expect out of a high school student.

[ooc: A on the project, B+ in the class for good work but, uh, absences. :)]

Stark turned in his project on the fine tradition of handwaveyness at Fandom High and what that says about the students' mental states.. It was, like so many assignments written by slightly cracked aliens, not exactly the easiest thing to follow. If you can get past the write-up being a little bizarre, it's not bad. All the right information is there, it's just organized in a way that makes sense to him.

((erm, Bs for both? Maybe? I don't even know. My brain had gone all melty again. Also sorry for being late again. I lose at life, omg!))

Anakin, looking exhausted, turned in an incredibly detailed and researched paper about love, its darker side and the connection between Eros and Chaos.

There was a great deal of information about the Jedi prohibition on attachment linked into the Earth mythology on the subject.

[OOC: A for the paper, A for the class. *pets her OCD Marty-Stu type*]

Angel turned in a paper about Celtic myths and how they related to Jungian archetypes. The research was there, but his ability to make his point was a bit spotty. After all, that involved using words.

B for paper, no higher than a B+ for class.

Hamlet turns in his research paper. It has a pretty good run-down about the stories of Oedipus and Electra, and how they didn't actually sleep with their parents even though everyone uses their names to mean people who do. There's also a section that explains that sometimes people may have somewhat of attraction to their Mother parents, but that doesn't mean that they aren't still good people, or that they'd ever act on that. A clever reader might notice that the essay gets a touch too personal here.

Both the paper and the class mark are probably somewhere in the B range.

Rory turned in a paper on the significant lack of female deities representing knowledge or learning, with a great deal of social commentary on how this is a feminist issue.

[A for paper, A for class. She's such a showoff, omg.]

Broots turned in his paper comparing and contrasting the role of Seers in myths and what they said about destiny.
