Did Anakin look weirdly chipper today? It was because he was just so excited about field day! Really! There were a number of stations set up around the park ~~with varying degrees of ridiculousness~~ that would definitely not be funny only for people watching.

Cough. Really.

"We will be in three teams of nine today!" Anakin yelled into the bullhorn, "so come up and get your t-shirts!"

Whether everyone would stay clothed was another question. And no, Anakin had no idea where these clearly-intended-for-various-elementary-schools shirts came from and how they might only fit Beaker.

...they might only fit Beaker.

Beaker had definitely ordered these.

Well, now Travis was going to go in for a kiss. Maybe that would make Stark feel better?

It did!

It also made him feel more stunned than anything else. So, good work, Travis?

"Was, uh." Travis cleared his throat and adjusted the headset he was now wearing. "Was that okay?"

Stark would have said yes. Unfortunately, he was currently in an unconscious heap on the ground.

Damn Travis, must have been some kiss.

Travis really should have been more concerned by that development. Mostly, he just seemed to be finding it cute.

"This is so messed up," he mused with a fond expression.

Stark sat back up, holding his mask.

"That...was unexpected."

Swooning was new!

"You need a hand there?" Travis asked. He was in the headset again.

"I think you've done enough," Stark said, eyeing Travis suspiciously.

Travis pulled his hand back. "...Yep, good call."

And now Stark was glowing because his mask had vanished. Again. But at least he was calm?

"This is a very odd day."

And Travis's jacket just went the same way as the mask.

"Yes. Yes it is."

Careful, Travis, someone might swoon again.

Not right now though. Right now Stark was clearly appreciating the view. "Not entirely bad though."

Hope he got his eyeful, because the jacket was back. With a chainsaw.

"I think I'm going to get whiplash."

Stark tilted his head as he considered that idea.

"You might," he agreed. "Hopefully not."

Oh hey! Travis didn't actually change this time. He got a moment to breath.

With his chainsaw.

The chainsaw was making Stark a little nervous for some reason. Or maybe it was the jacket. In any case he was visibly uneasy.

Travis's jacket changed into a t-shirt. He grinned at Stark.

"Well, at least I won't sweat to death in this."

Stark smiled back. Of course, Stark was currently a mirror-image of himself wearing horrible faux-medieval clothing and a blond wig.

"Good!"

Oh good, he wasn't speaking in rhyme.

Going in for another kiss definitely wasn’t the expected response to that look. And yet.

Stark, in the fur coat that was slightly less ridiculous than his previous outfit, just looked at Travis somewhat warily.

"Really?"

“Yeah I don’t know where that came from.”

At least he hadn’t knocked Stark unconscious this time?

Looks like Stark was taking that comment personally!

"You don't know where that came from?" Stark repeated angrily. RUDE, Travis.

Aaaand there went Travis’s clothes again.

“Let me make it up to you?”

Sitting down to meditate was an odd reaction to Travis having no shirt. But that was the reaction Stark had.

“This is my weirdest day ever.”
