The class was still in fake Daventry this week, and, considering the banners and pennants still strung up everywhere, they were clearly still taking part in the Knight's Tournament. And on that particular day, they were standing in the middle of none other than the Fantastical Floating Island, the kingdom's very own tourist trap du jour. Which did not, in fact, actually float...but whoever had constructed it had certainly tried their best. Either way, the main part of the island was an open space flanked by four towers around the perimeter and a few posts throughout.

"Welcome back, knight hopefuls!" Amaya greeted them with a grin from the center of the 'island'. "I hope you're feeling limber today, because this is the day we pursue the Duel of Strength...well, in this case, the Battle Royale of Strength!...in the traditional way of the Daventry's Knights Tournament. And that mean today, you won't be fighting hideous beasts or goblins or wetzel wolves or anything like that. You'll be fighting each other. The goal is to use your strength...and the resources that will soon be available to you...to overpower your classmates and shove them off the side of the infamous Fantastical Floating Island here, into the water below, and may whoever stands last wins this particular challenge! Simple enough, right? But you don't have to pursue it empty handed, of course, that would defeat the whole idea of the class! To keep the playing field even, though, you all will be given the same item to attempt to weaponize yourselves against your classmates for victory. And that item is..."

Amaya then presented them all with a large ball of multicolored yarn.

"Er..."

This was clearly not what she had expected to be presenting them with. But she considered it for a moment, and she shrugged.

"This yarn! You'll each have one large," and she did mean large, the ball was significantly larger than her own head, "ball of yarn like this one here to use any way you deem fit to create something to help you remain victorious and send your opponants into the drink! Anything currently on your person would suffice as well, and you will be given a pair of scissors, mostly to cut your yarn, but I suppose you can get creative with those, too. Just keep in mind, there's nothing creative about just stabbing your classmates with scissors."

Although it was the danger shop, so...

"And the Battle Royale of Strength begins...now!"

Cue several balls of yarn of different sizes and colors dropping from the sky like crafters' rain, and you were all on your own!
