BWI Airport Portalocity Lounge, Saturday Morning
BWI had long since given up asking questions about the lounge with the glittery banner, and definitely didn't blink at the antics of the crowd that usually showed up. Generally, they did their best to ignore it all and pretend nothing ever happened.
Which was perfectly fine with Yang, because it meant no one was giving her dirty looks for taking her gauntlets apart and putting them back together, or telling her to get her boots off the furniture, or yelling at her for shooting balls of paper at the wall out of boredom.
If more people didn't start showing up, though, she was going to be So. Bored. It was going to be a shitty training camp if she was the only person there, though dad wouldn't have been so enthused about her getting accepted to it if it sucked.
Whatever. She could sprawl on this couch and play games on her scroll until something more interesting happened, which would hopefully be soon.

Wait for the Shuttle
Re: Wait for the Shuttle
If only he knew where to go! But he saw banners, and that seemed promising, if not a good place to start.
"Pardon the intrusion," asked the giant shark man in his affected royal accent to whomever might be receptive to it, "but might anyone be able to direct me to where we are to gather for the voyage to Fandom High?"
Re: Wait for the Shuttle
"Pretty sure that's here," Yang said, looking up at the banner again. "If it's not...someone will find us eventually."
Re: Wait for the Shuttle
"Oh!" he continued, a hand apologetically to his chest, and he bowed slightly to the girl. "Pardon me. I seem to have forgotten my manners in all my excitement. I am Sidon, the Zora Prince!"
And here his gesture from earlier was repeated with even more emphasis and flair, flashing a sharp and toothy grin that definitely had a sparkle to it, even in this lighting. He held the pose just long enough that it might start to get uncomfortable before he straightened and asked, "And who might you be?"
Re: Wait for the Shuttle
She hopped off the couch, holding out her hand. "Yang Xiao Long. Nice to meet ya, Sidon."
Re: Wait for the Shuttle
"My father is a wise ruler, indeed, and has sent me to all thr kingdoms of Hyrule so that I might be more knowledgeable, except the Gerudo Desert, of couse." And he chuckled as if anyone would know why that was obvious. "And now I venture to other lands, to see what wisdom they may have to share. The Elders were against st it, but the Elders fail to accept that the world is much different in this time of the Great Calamity."

"What is the matter with you?" she demanded. "Why do you look like you're on the way to a comic book convention?"
Re: Wait for the Shuttle
"Pardon my ignorance," he said, ducking his head slightly in apology, "but what is a comic book convention?"
Re: Wait for the Shuttle
Because the shark thing was obviously a costume. Right?
Re: Wait for the Shuttle
"No," he said carefully. "I don't imagine it is. Oh, how troublesome. Does it seem but a mere costume? These accouterments are quite traditional and fitting for a prince such as myself. It did not even cross my mind that they might not be considered acceptable. I...I beg your pardon; I am not from around here..."

Re: Wait for the Shuttle
"Showing up looking like a shark is definitely not normal," Paris informed him.
Re: Wait for the Shuttle
And if looking at he did was not normal, well, then, he thought as he puffed out his chest and straightened his shoulders confidently after such an assessment, he was quite happy to not be normal.
The Trip to Fandom
Re: The Trip to Fandom
unlike his mun who hates living in the developing world SO MUCH YOU GUYSand glanced around for shell-shocked newbies."Anyone going to Fandom?"
Re: The Trip to Fandom
The more he thought about it, the more excited Sidon became, though he hesitated very strongly to get too near. His fists were held up against his chest, almost like a child attempting to restrain his excitement. A very large, red, sharky child.
"I am going to Fandom," he told the man carefully then gestured a hand toward the shuttle. "Is this a Divine Beast? Are you one of this land's Guardians?"
Re: The Trip to Fandom
"This is called a bus," Anakin said. "I'm one of the teachers and administrators at the school, so I'm a bit of a guardian, but I'm not sure it's exactly in the sense you mean."
Re: The Trip to Fandom
"I am Sidon," he then offered, with his patented introduction gesture of a good, hearty pump of his fist across his chest, with a sparkling, toothy shark grin, "the Zora Prince. I am pleased to meet your acquaintance."
Re: The Trip to Fandom
Re: The Trip to Fandom
Yet he still made no move to boarding the bus, not yet, still seeming quite unsure about the whole thing, though it helped to see the others get on without a problem, and he laughed at himself a little. "Fascinating," he murmured to himself. "Just wonderful. Though I suspect I shall have to watch my head as I enter..."
