Conflict Management and Resolution: Mon Period 4 - Final Class April 23

As the students filed into the Danger Room a large table full of sugary goodness treats was laid out as the final offering before the semester ended. Wilson was standing quietly by the table with a sad smile on his face as he marked off names.

“Well, good morning everybody, let’s get to it shall we? Please find the room with your name on it, inside you will find your practical final. Good luck, it’s been a wonderful class and I wish each of you a fantastic summer and for our graduating seniors, it’s been an honor to teach you.”

Stepping back, he waved the students to their individual rooms and started the scenario.

[ooc: For the final you can choose to if you want to play any one of the scenarios or handwavey any of the scenarios, handwavey all of the scenarios, play all of the scenarios just please tag in to each one. Please wait for The scenario laden OCDs are up! The final is now in session.]

Phoebe was here and decided on ways to help resolve the conflict.

Lana took a deep breath and got ready to work on the conflict.

Luke frowned. "Does it make a huge difference who arrives first?" he asked.

Peter did his best to take in the whole scenario and try to find out if he could hear both sides of the story. Luckily for him he had a lot of experience with interfamily issues if not reading all the threads before commenting so he drew on that to help the pawns feel like their job of going first was an honor, not a burden that they had to take on just because they were the younger brother shortest pieces on the board.

Tori took the situation in and listened to what everyone had to say, before coming up with a resolution that satisfied both sides.

Summer did her best to help both sides resolve their issues. She did have a little experience with this sort of conflict after all.

Teddy listened carefully to both sides of the argument before helping them come to a decision that seemed to please them both.

And he wasn't even boggling over the chess pieces. They were oddly easier to get used to than the tulips were.

Conner stared at the board for a while. "This is like a really twisted episode of Mighty Capin' Justice Magicians or something," he muttered.

It took him a while, and he got his feet stomped on by a couple of pissed-off pawns, a wrathful rook, and a blustering bishop in the process, but he finally reached a satisfactory, if slightly shaky, resolution.

Layla did her best to smooth things over with each side, hopefully helping them understand how important family really was.

Blair looked over the board and shook his head. "You know, checkers would never behave like this."

Pointing out to the pawns that they were supposed to obey the orders of their elders without question was probably the wrong initial approach to take. But Bel eventually worked out a solution. Eventually.

Naomi really shouldn't have been there after what happened yetersday but she was still able to successfully resolve the conflict.

Family conflict? Jim was so not the right guy for this. Oh well, he'd try. And probably didn't do a very good job of it in the end.

Being an only child, Haruhi wasn't exactly sure what the best way to solve a family conflict was, but went with what she thought was the logical way to go.

Phoebe may be looking shaky as she tries to help figure out the issues.

Lana's feeling a bit more confident here as she prepares to listen to the issues.

Luke put his hands into his sleeves and sighed. "Okay," he said to a nearby rook, "what seems to be the problem now?"

Conflict because of a woman of authority with strong opinions? Peter was all over it. Heck, after smoothing things out between his ma and, well, everyone else his ma came in contact with this part of the challenge was easy.

Peter got both sides to get along and moved on to the next part.

Summer didn't have experience with this type of conflict, however, she managed to help both sides reach a compromise.

She helps draw out a treat with a [plan for lasting peace... and free ice cream on certain days.
