Young Entrepeneurs; Tuesday, 4;00.
Turtle was bouncing excitedly for the club today, and had a bunch of stuff spread out on the desk in the front of the classroom.
First, coffee. Of course. As gross and nasty as it was. "Hey, guys! Hope everyone's having a good week so far. We have a lot of stuff to cover today."
Second, a bunch of packets she'd put together that morning. "These," she said, handing them out, "are filled with some information and some figures I did about companies we can work with to manufacture our glitter, or, also included, the budgeting for what it would cost to make our own. Personally, I really like the second idea, and, in the long run, it'll be cheaper, and probably more fun, as well. Great for advertising if we make it ourselves, too. People go nuts for self-made stuff. Look it over, get to know it well, lemme know what you think next week. Extra bonus points to anyone who turns in a report on the whole matter."
She'd already written four.
Third, there was a lot of glitter on the desk. She had, in fact, nearly cleaned out the stock at Turtle & Canary. "Okay, next. Competition. Knowing your competion inside and out is important. These guys," she gestured toward the plethora of glitter, "is what's offered at Turtle & Canary currently. This is what our product needs to be better than. Take some, play with it, familiarize yourself with the glitternot dirty, omg. Know your competition!"
"Finally, while we're doing that, we need to discuss how to raise some money so that we can have the capital to start manufacturing. In able to make money, you have to spend money, and in able to spend money, you have to fundraise. It sucks. So let's talk about how we can do that."
Snagging up a bottle of green and a bottle of silver glitter, Turtle plopped down into a chair for the discussion to start.
[[wait for OCD, as per usual! Huzzah. ]]

He caught the glitter. "And yes, way to raise money. Not a lot, mind you, but a steady trickle is better than no flow. We have no cars here," he began.
Re: Discussion!
"Right, so they have to be kept off island in storage. What can we do about that?"
