Alpha Beta Gremlin Meeting, Tuesday [6:00 PM FHT]

Summer waited excitedly in the music room for people to show up for the first Alpha Beta Gremlin meeting.

"Hi people," she greeted. "We all have Marie to thank for setting this all up, but she isn't able to be here today. Something about going to Canada with her boyfriend for a week. She's so lucky. But I'm not jealous, really."

Except she totally was. "Anyway, today's meeting is basically going to be a meet and greet type of deal. Also, brainstorming ideas for potential service projects would be awesome."

Annette arched a brow, "Are you serious?"

She was stunned. "How the heck did that happen? I've never even seen one of them yet!"

"Me neither. But apparently it made him think he was some horrible comedian from the past. I am not too sure on the details."

"Oh my. I saw him last night at Caritas. He sang, Ami. It bothered me. I had to leave. It was just too un-Billy and so totally strange." She twisted her lips. "As long as he is better now, that is all that matters."

"He sang? And i missed it?" Ami wondered at Annette's reaction. "Strange how?"

"Well, uh, he talked different...and...said there were all these people living inside of him. Honestly, just weird."

"Yeah... I can see how it would be... Hopefully he will stay Goblin free for a while." She decided to change the subject. "Are you going to the dance Friday?"

"I plan too, and you and Billy are going?"

"We haven't actually discussed it, but maybe?" Ami shrugged. "John set up a thing where people with no dates can fill out forms and get matched up. I coded the matchign program for him. I am highly curious to see how that experiment will go."

"Oh, wow. That sounds kind of cool. And Billy should ask you. He should ask you no later than tomorrow so you can plan on what you are going to wear."

"I have to dress up don't i?" Ami was not too sure how she felt about that. "What are you wearing?"

"Well, I'm going with a dress. Not too fancy, but somewhere in between casual and dressy."

"I own several dresses, but they are not what i'd call dressy..." hmm, maybe she really didn't have anything to wear?

"Maybe we could go shopping?" Annette suggested with a small smile. "I've got to go anyway and if you want to come along, I wouldn't mind at all."

"Oh that would be lovely! When are you going? And where?" This was what her Father meant when he handed her several credit cards, right?

"Probably Thursday. And I'm not sure yet, most likely just in town unless you know of somewhere else? I've never been off the island since coming to school."

"I have been off the island, but only for Fondue." Ami's smile widened as she thought about that date.

"Oh, I love fondue. I'm partial to cheese and chocolate though."

"This place" Ami explained "Has this setup where you get to have those and also the meat fondue main course as well"

"Cool. Was this a date with Billy?" Cause Annette pretty much assumed it was.

Ami nodded. "Yes, we were going to go week before last, but then everything was put on hold due to being transparent. But we went last friday."

"And did you two enjoy yourselves?" She asked with a warm smile.

Ami nodded. "It was a lovely time. And you can't go wrong with interactive food, can you?"
