Spanish 101, Period 2, Monday

As the class entered, they were all handed a handout about the Spanish past perfect. "The trick to taking the Spanish past perfect is knowing when to use it," El said. "Typically, in English, it's used when you would say "I had done something". For example "I had eaten in the cafetaria", suggesting that you no longer do so. Wheras the past tense is temprorary state in a specific time, past perfect is an ongoing state over a longer period of time.

"I've provided a test today about the past perfect tense along with some vocabulary. Let's see how you do."
