And her brows were lifted and fully loaded and ready to start firing off questions about that poorly hidden attempt not to smile and all those fines until he got to that last part, which just derailed it entirely and made her roll her eyes.
"I don't think I existed after Friday," she complained. "Whether physically or meta-physically, like, on a spiritual plane sort of level, have no idea, but, yeah, complete weekend, totally lost, although I know the island did that whole alternate future bullshit again, so who even knows what kind of juicy gossip I missed...."
She trailed off in a certain way and looked at Stark expectantly, like, you know, if he wanted to help her fill in some of those gaps, she would not complain....
