"It is said," Ghanima began as the students arrived, "-that old age and treachery always beats out youth and skill. This is not incorrect."
"And there is a special kind of power," Tyrion continued, "that comes from knowing where the bodies are buried. What's more, the old -- like the young -- are often underestimated by those around them. That means one may be able to gather more power than anyone realizes covertly.
He glanced about the classroom. "Obviously none of us here are going to have the power that comes with old age for many years."
"Also, don't discount the utterly terrifying advantage of an older player of the game adopting a protégé, or partnering in some other way with a younger face," Ghanima added. "I may not have seen the metaphorical bodies buried with my own eyes, but I know where they are and how they got there."
She wasn't going to go into explaining her Other Memory now, as it wasn't relevant to the class, but it was fair to say that Ghanima did know where ALL THE BODIES were buried. Mostly. Unless they were Fremen, because Fremen were sensible about these things and left no bodies to find.
"So when youth and maturity clash, it generally tends to be in the worst sorts of ways. Especially inside the insular circles of power."
"And on that cheerful point," Tyrion said, "we'll hop to the business of the day -- a film showing exactly how the young and the old can clash. And it's set at Christmas, so I suppose it counts as seasonal as well."
"Christmas, for those of you unfamiliar with this world and era, is supposed to be a family holiday reflecting on love and giving," Ghanima offered helpfully. "Some people show love differently."
